Mid-day tiredness
Are you eating breakfast? If I don't I always get tired in the afternoon. One thing that surprisingly helps me is water. If you're tired drink a nice cool glass, not ice cold, and it should help revive you. IF that doesn't work, try protein like almonds, or another choice from the list you received as responses to your post this morning.

a short walk --- up and down stairs if you are in an office building with access --- or a quick trip outside around the buliding.
It clears your mind to take a quick break, and increases blood flow to move around.
You can spare 5 minutes to take a break and move your body -- get yourself a nice glass of water on your way back to your desk or whereever you took a break from.

I get dehydrated very easily post-op. If I don't drink water by the liter, I get tired. That could be it if you aren't slamming down the water in the morning.
A minor lack of food isn't likely to cause fatigue, but hypoglycemia. Moderately low blood sugar has a very different set of symptoms than dehydration. Hypoglycemia makes me feel cranky, irritable, jittery, bummed out, and/or anxious. Dehydration just makes me tired.
