Fill question

I go in for a fill on Aug,32. I am not sure i can get it though. I can not go 3 hours without feeling hungry so i know i need one. It take less then normal to get me full but still more then it should. My issue is i get stuck with every single meal. i think it is because my son wont sit and eat a whole meal he is always running around into something so i gotta chase after him. i gues i am not really paying attention to i how i am chewing. I know i need the fill but im kinda scared with getting stuck so much. Should i do it or not?

You need to discuss your concerns with your dr. My suggestion is feed your son first, then have him occupied with a book or game so you can concentrate on eating. That might help.

if you get stuck every meal now, it will only be worse.  I'd rater go 2 hours and grab a few bites of protein then get stuck, you dont want to hurt your band and stomach.  but I agree with poster, talk with Dr. and you might want to recheck your appointment date. lol  good luck

Yeah talk to the Dr.   I also had this issue and I have had to REALLY work and concentrate on my eating habits. (how fast , size of bites etc) The past two weeks it has been much better almost NO vomitting/PB's !!!! Also I try to all out avoid things I know are probably not going down and for me that is chicken and pork. You can do alot between now and your appt to see if the sticking gets better or if you neeed to put the fill off a little longer. My concern would be if you need a fill and do not get it you will move on to more slider type food because you are hungry and have trouble with better for you foods. That may lead to no wt loss or even a little gain. The idea to feed your son first and then get him occupied and you eat is a good one! Also I cut up my food into tiny little pcs now before I even sit down to eat and that helps. 
Don't count your fill out yet you can try to tweak your eating habits first that might be all you need. I am going for my 3rd fill on Friday and really wanted to have this whole not eating the right way thing kinda of taken care of.So far so good. I can tell a big difference . I am actually kind of liking my band now that I am not regurging everything I eat.lol My wt loss has picked up as well. It was there doing its thing .... but I was not ! lol

I think i will try exactly that. feed my son first. Also i think cutting up my food smaller will help. Thanks for the ideas. i will let you guys know how i am doing with that.

You need to get your eating sorted before thinking of a fill. Otherwise you will have real problems.

I know it is not always as easy as it sounds, but it would probably help your son not store up his own later eating problems if he could be persuaded to sit for a meal!
