craving salt?1

anyone crave salt???  not salty foods, but actual salt?  if so why and what did you do for it?  I tried dabbing some salt on my tongue and it gave me the shakes LOL i had to wa**** down with water really fast.................its just strange, so your ideas/comments pleasEE!!!!

I would ask your PCP to do blood levels.  Usually a big craving like that can say something is off balance in your system.  The only time I crave salty things is right before my TOM.

I craved salt a couple days after surgery. Sounds gross but I sucked the salt of of some peanut shells and peanuts. I then tried to give them to my husband. LOL! Had about three and didn't want any more. Haven't had that craving since then. Thought it was very weird as I don't put salt on anything and dont eat peanuts.

Me too Bright!  i NEVER salt ANYTHING! so this is really weird.  if it keeps up i'll get some labs done.THanks!
