64 fills and a few unfills in 5 years - Is this excessive?

I think you hit old at 64 years or 64 fills.  This old lady is blocked, too.   I think I appreciate it, too.

   Sorry.  Just couldn't help it.  I was feeling so down in the dumps with my own issues that I logged on the Board for a pick-me-up during the lunch hour.  Nana, you wonder why someone suggested a therapist and thought it was condescending.  I interepreted it as her trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, work through your own issues, etc.  If you are wondering why someone would recommend this too you, read your own posts.   Why bother arguing back to everyone anyways?  Why all the CAPs language which we all know is equivalent to shouting when typed out?  Reading the posts reminded me of an adult trying to argue with a 3 year old.  You posted on the lapband page.  People gave responses.  It would seem the appropriate behavior would be to thank respondents, ignore respondents, or engage in appropriate conversation with respondents. 
              
              

Regarding your comments to Jean, I do not know her yet.  I have found her posts to be very helpful and educational.  I like that her signature line includes that her posts are her own opinion.  She seems like a neat person who cares about others journeys.

Hang in there.  Respect is not something automatically granted.  One persons opinion is not always the only way to go.  All the "screaming" (CAPS) in your posts are likely turning people off more than the language.  

Of course, you are free to write whatever you want.  That's what's great about our country.  But when writing in this style, negative feedback is pretty much going to be a given.

Well many others provided useful feedback not sure how asking about fills turned into a witch hunt.. ..everyone that responded are well known for being sneaky they feel that are successful with the band, should I have not responded to all of Jeans and others harassment's and flames...probably not... but I am sick and tired of getting attack here for NO REASON...there is NO reason for her to attack me about my fill problem, if she can''t add value or give support WHY respond...so she got what she deserved her feeling hurt and NOW the trouble makers are a blocked and can never bother me again...and YES...I was screaming...no one attacks me when I am having problems......she is one very sneaky evil women that pretends she is here for support...she is only hanging around to try to get money from vulnerable bandsters....no wonder she lost her job I know her type good for nothing but trouble I can't believe she has friends but again all her friends are just like her...evil...so birds of a feather flock....she is not block along with her cronies....

I responded back to let other see how stupid and evil they are....they are now all blocked thank god.

I doubt anyone could hit that 64 times without springing a leak. It's a numbers game. It's just hard to believe you are just mentioning this. Wasn't 20, 30, or 40 fills alarming to you at some point?

Banded 6 years this week....10 or 12 adjustments.

Just to add. Naomi wrote this back in the fall, which means she's roughly had 40 fills in 11 months. She gets a fill every week?

whew about to go to bed...you've got a lot of time on your hands!! But glad you had the time to FIND THIS....which clearly supports my many many fills...last year I had lost count...I knew it was MORE than 20 fills...I did not realize HOW MANY IT WAS...until I got my records...why is it SO important to try to discredit something that does not concern you?

Just to clarify...some of those adjustments WERE UNFILLS....64 times my port has been accessed that's all you need to know.

As my previous post suggest..as I have always said...I have been too tight many times and had MANY fills, I lost count did not know how many I had until i got proof of my records.....hope this makes you happy. 

 in my sarcastic  voice....I REALLY NEED to seek legal counsel now since this very simple post polling those who've had fills how many they have had.... I am puzzled why this post got so much of a stir....and have  my haters coming out the woodwork in droves...I must really have a case, thanks for letting me know the 64 adjustments including fills and unfills is significant enough for me to file a case.

If you want someone to read your response, you need to not block them.
I wish you no harm, but clearly either scenario (someone who asks for 64 fills, or a doctor who gives them) is a problem.

Hey girl I have "followed" you for lack of a better word but I'm thrilled that you are finally going to get another surgeon.  Going to the doctor for "fills" etc was quite possibly a shame.  I will keep you in prayers that all of his tweaking didn't do damage, sounds like the old bait and switch.

You KNOW it's excessive.  Be blessed in your journey.  Here's to getting a good doctor and a lasting fill and since you know your "number" once you get a new doctor it should be easy breezy!!
