Alcohol
I was also a good many months post op before I had any alcohol. Juice and vodka doesn't really affect me too much (I think they put in more juice than vodka) but wine can make me loopy on an empty stomach.
Just be careful, and don't make it a habit of drinking calories.

I have enjoyed ****tails since about a month out with no issues. My tolerance is the same as before .The only thing now is no beer and no sugary mixers.I too do water and vodka or rum and add crystal lite.It is delish! You do have to remember it is empty calories and that you may be more inclined to eat mindlessly when you have a drink or two. :)
I don't drink very often - about 3-4 x a year and when I do it's Tequilla shots. I hate everything else. It took a full year before it didn't bother my stomach but I've had it a couple times this summer and been fine. Don't need as much to get "tipsy" so don't drink as much. I do make sure I don't eat much when drinking because I'm afraid I will eat too much. I usually have a meal before.
