I had thought about it as I only live 50 miles north of Cincy, but wasn't sure if it would be any fun. Have you ever been to one?

Nope, I have never been to one.  I have read that people really enjoy them though.

I bought my ticket a few months back and am soooooo looking forward to going and getting "recharged"

I am in columbus

I live just outside of Wilmington, about an hour south of Columbus. I'll have to ask the DH about going...

I am going!  I'm pre-surg (lap band) and only two months into my required 6-month pre-surg program.  I'm caffeine / carbonation free, seriously watching carbs, protein, sodium and calories and have lost 11.5 lbs to date.  My next follow-up with the dr and dietician is aug 3-- trying to stay on track to maintain my health.  My BP is also lower since I've incorporated these changes.

I reconnected with an old high school friend on facebook who is also pre-op for RNY.  She told me about OH and is planning to go to the conference too.  It will be good to get caught up with her after so many years and kind of ironic we are both on this path to WLS.

Cinci is only a few hours from me.  I'm in eastern KY.

I am about 60 miles east of Cincinnati & would like to try and make it to this. I don't really want to ask my dh with his 130 lb self to be bored out of his mind, so debating who I should ask to attend with me? Especially after all I have been reading online, I want to get informed as much as I possibly can! I am stuck in my own "bandster hell" worrying if I made the right choice having the surgery. My biggest fault in life seems to be I find negative in most everything UGHHH 

I wanna go, where do I get information on the tickets and so forth if it not tooo late.
