Frisch's Big Boy

I am trying to find out how many carbs are in a frisch's fish sandwhich without the bun. It's just two pieces of breaded fish. Everything I can find has it with the bun at 47g carb but I'm guessing that is mostly from the bun. Any ideas?

I checked out the website livestrong.com and found nutritional infor for Frisch's hamburger rolls which may or may not  go on the fish sandwich. Here's the scoop ;1 hamburger roll is 100 calories, total fat 1 gram, carbs 20 grams, and protein is 4.Do they also put on tarter sause, because that could have alot of carbs. .Hope this helps.

Thanks! The tarter sauce is only 2g carbs. Hmmm...I'm wondering if its worth it. They are pretty good...

Breading on fish (or chicken) usually adds about 20+ grams of carbs..fish on its own, broiled, baked, or pan fried, with no breading, has 0 carbs.

I would think it's the breading and bun that is giving it all the carbs. Skip the bun and peel off the breading and it should be good to go. I have been buying cod filets at kroger, sprinkling a little cajun seasoning on them and throwing them in the oven.... They are delicious! I only eat Frisch's tarter sauce also, all the others have too much of a strong onion flavor for my liking. 2 TBSP Frisch's tarter sauce = 190 cal, 20g fat,  and 2g carbs. I know it isn't the healthies choice, but since I'm skipping the bun & breading it's at least an improvement for me. :D
