I use Equate ( Wal-Mart's brand) or Johnson's Bay Oil Gel. The trick is to use it while your skin is still wet from a shower or bath and apply it to a wet washcloth and then pat it on your skin. Then blot your body with a towel. It traps in the moisture and keeps the skin really soft. I've been using this type of regime ( I used to melt petroleum jelly and baby oil together and apply as above) but the gel works fine and saves me allot of work. I am constantly in the pool swimming laps and this is the only thing that keeps my skin soft without any dryness. Even though I'm 57 years old, my message therapist as well as my Doctor ask me what I do to keep my skin in such good shape.

Hope this helps. I know this isn't a cream, but I found this clogs my pores far less than any of the creams and works too boot!

great info, sounds like it works for you! I did not know baby oil came in a gel form.....I'll look for it. Thanks!

I love the Olay also.  If you are looking for one for stubborn dry hands or feet I love Glysomed.  It's got a silicone base and so is water resistant.

Jergens Smoothing Cream. I buy it at Walmart and it's preety cheap for a big bottle. I also put it on wet skin and rub in. works really well.
