You look great! Did you run a Marathon? I hope to be starting some running/jogging soon.

Yes I did my first 5K this past January in Disney world! I am not a runner , but I can do 15 minute  miles! I have done 3 5K's since January, I am doing a 10 K in October through Disney called Race for the Taste.   5K =3 miles, so a 10 K= 6 miles

I began walking before surgery and continued immediately after surgery. Was I slow? Yup! Was I tired, yup, but it helped me immensly with Bandster Hell, food cravings and energy!!!!!!! When I went back to work, I began using my break to walk. Today I continue walking on my break, but now I have a co-worker asked if she can join me. Now we do 30 minutes of brisk walking, and we walk 40 flights of stairs in the parking garage of where we work. NO EXCUSES!

I found that if I didn't change into work on my break then I wouldn't bother working out at all. I had a 25th anniversary trip to spain ahead of me, so I bumped up the exercise, I stayed in my work out clothes and when I got home, I would throw my things inside and head back out the door and walk some more. If I went inside and sat, then I wouldn't go at all!    Later I got a trainer, and she is the bomb! She pushes and motivates me, and now I am addicted to it and need it to relieve my stress and it helps to build my self esteem.    Band is ONLY one TOOL, ya still gotta do the work.

Good luck to you!

WOW Bette! That is one of the most drastic transformations I've seen with lap band! GREAT job and it looks like your even maintaining a very thin (ok healthy) weight!
