14cc Lapband?
I have a 14 cc band. My first fill was 3ccs. My second was 2 ccs. My third was .7 ccs, my fourth was .5 and my fifth was .5, so I now have 6.7 ccs in my band. I began filling some restriction around 5 ccs. I am getting close to where I want to be, but since he's only putting in .5 each time now, I think it will be a few months before I get close to the perfect spot. I go in next Monday for my sixth fill. I was supposed to have it last Thursday, but I'm leaving town in the morning and I was nervous about going away so soon after getting a fill. I can still eat too much and unfortunately, don't always keep myself from doing so. Which is why my weight is coming off slower than I'd like. Totally my fault and something I need to work on. Good luck!

I have the APL 14cc band. My Dr typically fills bands halfway the 1st fill...so I was expecting 7cc's! I ended up with 6.6cc's as 7cc's was a bit to tight at the time. Honestly I do not feel much restriction. The only way I know something has changed is because I experienced my first "stuck" episode. So chewing my food better is something I am more aware of now and I also seem to stay satisfied longer ...but as far as the quantity of food ..I am still not at the point where a 1/2 to a cup of food satisfies.

I have a 14 cc band. My first fill was only about 1.5 cc and it gave me restiction that lasted two months. Since then my fills I ahve had 2 additional fils and have a total of 7 ccs and have not been able to get that real good restriction sensation.
Remeber we all react differenctly.
Good Luck!

I have a 10cc band and I am way over my band fills... I have 12cc in my 10cc band... Not a mistake... I have 12cc's in my 10cc band... After post-op, I had NO restriction... each doctor's visit, I received 1cc at a time.... I'm almost 2yrs out and have NO restriction at all... certain foods like broccoli, brown rice, chicken have a hard time going down, but other than that... No restriction... I'm worried that once I hit the max fill capacity... it's over for me and thats scary!!! I have so much more weight to lose... My suggestion is to not let the doctor drag your weightloss along... if you dont have GOOD restriction, meaning... instead of 1cc fills at a time maybe try 2 cc or 3cc especially if you have the larger band size.. This should not be taking me this long to have good restriction... This is almost like mental torture...
