Alot of the posts I have seen show people in their 200's.  Just wondered if there was any larger people who have gotten lapband?

Thank you,
Ann

Ms. Bette.

Thank you for responding to me.

I was starting to think that nobody over 300 lbs had Lapband and that the Dr.'s normally did bi pass on patients over 300 lbs.

May I ask how much weight you have lost?  And how long you have maintaned that loss?

Thank you so much,
Ann

Bette is such a role model on this board. Click on her picture and read her profile. She is very very skinny. You will do great with the surgery too.

At the clinic where I got the surgery done, we had a Symposium all day last Saturday.  Believe me, there were people well in the 400's at the Symposium.  In fact, one of the speakers, Dr Ganz was a heavyweight and is now at 180 pounds.
You can do it! Be good to yourself and think positive.
WHat I liked about this surgery is that it is minimally invasive and ulimately easily reversible if the situation required so.

My starting weight was 355 and I'm down to 267ish.  I had my surgery roughly 7 months ago.
