Anyone With Success NOT eat breakfast
I don't eat breakfast...seems as if I do, I feel nauseated and then it tends to make me want to eat more. I start off with a latte, and my liquid vitamins in a little herbal tea...then around maybe 11 I eat a little applesauce or a bite or two of yogurt....then at around 2 I am ready for lunch. One more meal at around 6 and I am done for the day. Maybe have a late snack of applesauce or such if dinner was lite. Its kind of different every day for me...but I have never been and I guess never will be a breakfast person. I am 2 months out to the day and have lost 46 pounds so far....I think you have to do what works for you. If I stop losing, I will look at mixing things up a bit. jan

That is exactly what I am talking about.
My surgeon says breakfast is the LEAST important meal of the day (for people trying to lose weight). He said to eat the fewest number of meals that I can get by with even if it means 1 or 2 meals a day. He said it is ok to eat breakfast if I am hungry but not to feel like I had to.
He went on to mention that at night our bodies go into fat burning mode and we are still burning fat for energy till we take our first bite of food for the day... then the body switches to burning food for energy.
I believe in him, so I believe this makes sense.

It definitely sounds like everyone has varying opinions and been told different things by their doctors. I personally found that my weight loss increased after I started eating breakfast. I too didn't eat because I was too tight, but to resolve that I drink a cup of hot cocoa (I don't drink cofffee or anything like that.) Warm liquids will help open you up as well as hydrate you. Sometimes the tightness has to do with being dehydrated. So, i drink my hot cocoa and then eat my breakfast. It works for me.
