TO ALL OF YOU THAT ARE BETTER THAN ANYBODY ELSE
Please, please, please....there is way too much hatred in this world now, we don't need it on these board, too. Basically, the majority of the posters are good people who will do everything they can to inform or help out the newbies. Can't we all just get along?

I have to admit, I said some things on that thread that I'm not proud of. Not that I didn't mean them or didn't feel that way, but that was not the appropriate time to say it. I'm not proud of the way I came across. I'm woman enough to own up to that. How I feel about that person doesn't take away from the fact that she has been a good support to some people on here. It was small minded of me to try to take that away from them. Everyone has a good side, including the people that you're angry with now. They may have done things you don't agree with, but don't let that undermine the fact that those very people have been an invaluable support to many others on this journey.
I hope you re-consider coming here. We're not bad people, we're just people who were not necessarily showing the best sides of ourselves that day.
Edited to add: Ok, maybe we're not thinking about the same post. Was this something that happend to you personally or are you upset by the way another member was treated?

Be honest, you don't want newbies knowing everything that can happen with the band. You are first to jump up and say what can happen with other procedures but you want people to keep their mouths shut about the band. Not gonna happen.
See, I came to a different conclusion than you this morning. I realized that some people aren't prepared to deal with truth and honesty so they write posts about how everyone ELSE is mentally ill.
Get over yourself.
Cheers.
I finally have used the block option offered, never thought I'd need to, but obviously I do!!
Here's my question though, when you block someone, do they know you've blocked them?
It was a definite low point on the board for me, and I'm sorry that's that what your friend saw. It upset me quite a bit, too. I couldn't believe how mean-spirited many of the posts were! As the thread went on, people got more and more comfortable and started saying stuff like, "Yeah, and I never liked her, either" and then told a story about why.
I also didn't enjoy being insulted for saying that I didn't like the thread.
For now, I'll just take what works for me and leave the rest -- like others have said.

I hope you enjoyed your own private ([public) b***fest, and with your vast 5 months of board experience I am quite certain you are well informed enough to tell people exactly how to behave and what to say and who to say it to (IN A VERY LOUD VOICE I MIGHT ADD).
Honestly, it's awfully rude to do the internet equivalent of YELLING about how people are BEHAVING. It's awfully narrow minded to categorize and entire board from one post, which is what you seem to be doing.
Whether you mean to be or not, you are as offensive to me as the trash post was to you.
