For me:

B: Chipotle chicken with apples and raisins, cucumber slices, pear or peach
L: 1/2 sauteed ribeye steak, tomatoes or cucumbers, pear or peach
D: Roast chicken (I hope), cauliflower, blueberries with FF yogurt & Splenda.

PS: Last night's chicken stank and ended up in the garbage, so dinner was steak instead.  Guess I won't be turning into poultry anytime soon.

On the weekends I eat more of a brunch than a breakfast and lunch.  So, for brunch I had 2oz pecan crusted Salmon.  That's it so far besides my vitamins.  I'm going to cleaning out my frig later so I'll probably have some more left overs for dinner.

B:    1 fried egg, 1/4 c. cream of wheat, 2 T. corned beef hash
L:     2 oz. tuna, 1/2 T. mayo, steamed yellow squash
D:    1/2 c. homemade chili w/hamburger meat and beans
S:     1/2 c. Jean's cottage cheese chocolate pudding

P.S. Trying to make some things on the weekend, like the chili, that I can freeze for future meals.  I'm only one month out, so I'm trying to get organized.  My goals include trying to get in 5 fruits and/or vegetables a day.....now that's a challenge!

I started my soft "mushies" diet two days early, but with caution:

B - 1 egg gently fried over easy, no crunchy parts
S - Vanilla Cinnamon Protein Scoop in Coffee
L - 2 oz tuna in light mayo
S - Banana protein shake h20 and ice (no milk)
D - Leftover 1/2 cup chili
S - SF Pudding or Vanilla FF SF Yogurt

I immediately noticed a difference in hunger after eating some chili vs. just soup, it stayed with me much longer.  My appt w surgeon is tomorrow, and I will be honest about my transgressions, one thing I won't ever do is lie to him.  I learned that in support group - be honest with yourself (and your surgeon!)
