Waaaay OT: Cleaning home question
Hello there.
I used to be a floral designer and worked with silk flowers a lot. If they are good quality you can fill the vase with water and it should clean the gel in the bottom of the vase. You can use windex on the vase so not to leave water spots. Then fill your tub with cool soapy water (dawn works good) Turn the vase upside down and swish back and forth. Refill the tub with fresh water and do it again. If you use ho****er the flowers will fade. Shake off as much water as possible and let the water drip off the flowers are almost dry and then turn back right side up and let them finish drying. If they are good quality flowers they will look as good as new. I hope this works for you. I have done this many times. The best way to check if the flowers will hold up is by doing this on a small scale with one of the flowers.
