Alyssa...this too(all of it) shall pass....eventually!!  The dates will line up or there is a reason they don't...don't doubt that reason!  It doesn't mean you shouldn't be disappointed about it...I would be!  I would also be frustrated and probably mad too.  All valid and normal feelings. All that being said, your problems are not small...they are just yours.  No, they don't compare to people dying but what does?  Should you live every day like it was possibly your last and be happy-slappy about everything no matter how frustrating or disappointing things are to you personally...NO. I am sad, mad, frustrated and disappointed for you and hopeful too that things get resolved.  I am also all those things for Patrick Swayze.  Aren't we all?  Another life at risk of being taken too soon.  Sad. Does that cover everything?

Yes Kris!  It does cover it all! When I know when my new date is, I'll let you guys know... and hopefully that date will actually be the day my repair is done!  I am frustrated and sad, who wouldn't be if you felt horrible every day?  I will just try to be patient... for a bit longer!  I am all those things for Patrick Swayze and I am so sad to hear that his cancer is one of the worst.  I sure hope they caught it in time! BTW,  I love your new picture!!!  You are looking amazing and shrinking before our eyes!

I'm sorry to hear your date has changed Alyssa!  What a bummer.  I don't blame you for wanting to cry...I probably would have.  You are stronger than me putting up with these issues for so long.  I think I would have given up much sooner.  That's why you are going to make an excellent doctor....you are committed.  You haven't given up and instead have tried to find the solution and I hope that when all the schedules get coordinated...in the words of Larry the Cable Guy...you'll "git 'er done!" We're here for you....you know who you can count on....leave the rest. Karen

Alyssa, I so understand your disappointment.  I was hoping for March and when they called to schedule my surgery it can't be until April 17.   When you have something wrong that is causing problems, the last thing you want to happen is for it to be put off. We will wait it out together and know that when it is done we will both be in a better place.  When problems are effecting our health and life, yes, they are the most important problems on earth.  I guess things could always be worse, but they are already bad enough.   We have the right to ***** and complain about our lives because no one else can do it for us. Just because someone is dying somewhere, it doesn't make are situations any better.
