how many calories are in a margarita from pepe's?

I was wondering?

I don't know about that specific restaurant, but a typical Margarita has over 400 calories.

According to my calorie book. 8oz. of the mix is 90 calories and 80 proof liquor is 65 calories an oz and 100 proof is 120 oz. You would have to ask the size of the drink and what alcohol they use and figure it out.

 Here is what I found. A) 240 cal B) 400 cal C) 550 cal D) 740 cal The answer is D) 740 calories, according to this article on Forbes on the most fattening drinks. Considering that an average person should be consuming between 1500 and 2000 calories, that is a pretty scary number -- one margarita is the equivalent of half of your daily calories. And who just has one?

**however, I went and checked a different calorie counter and it said the standard portion of margarita has an average of 300 calories.     So who knows?  I guess it depends on the mix and the size of the drink.
