Starbucks Skinny Mocha..tried it?

They don't have sugar free in the peppermint do they?! I tried the Gingerbread recently and didn't care for the after taste. So for non-fat, sugar free, you just say "skinny" now? I didn't know that. I always feel so pretentious with my big long order. I just want a yummy coffee/latte without a lot of calories. - lol

Yeah apparently saying "I want a nonfat sugar free vanilla latte" was too much trouble... so we just say Skinny now.. lol. I thought the gingerbread was weird too at first but it grew on me. Tried SF caramel today it was pretty good. I really wish they had SF peppermint.. maybe next year!

That funny, I ordered a skinny latte today at lunch (my first). I drank it so fast it came back up. I'm a Starbuck addict. Prior to becoming a bandster,my favorite was extra carmel, extra vanilla, carmel mocha. Today was my first day back to Starbucks. I will probably treat myself to a skinny latte once a week.

Awesome! I didn't know this! I don't go there for 3 days and they roll out a new name for drinks? So instead of saying "Grande No-Whip Sugar Free Cinnamon Dolce Nonfat Latte" I can just say "Grande Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte"???? OMG, that eliminated, like, FOUR words! (Read that sentence again, in your best valley girl accent!) (Insert facetious grin here)

I tried it yesterday, and was disappointed. I thought maybe it wasn't made correctly because it didn't taste the least *****ocolatey. It just tasted like they had put artificial sweetner in my latte. I just don't understand why I can buy Hershey's sugar free chocolate syrup at the grocery store which tastes halfway decent, and Starbuck's can't have a similar tasting product. I think I'm back to the nonfat, no-whip, grande iced latte. If I want to treat myself, I'll go for the "real" mocha syrup once in awhile. Good idea to ask for one pump instead of two.

I tried it last night also, I was thinking it needed another pump or two of the chocolate, to me it was not sweet enough or chocolatey enough!!!!

Hey Ubergirl, I love your doggie picture...Is she a malamute? I have a Siberian Husky...

I havent tried the skinny Latte. I love coffee but I steer clear of Starbucks. It seems addictive and I dont need any more bad habits. Also, my daugher starts her new manager job there monday. We are excited about that.

Yeah he's a Malamute, wooly and giant. :)  Starbucks seems like a decent company to work for, I hope your daughter enjoys her new job!

When I go, and it is usually once a week in the winter, I order mine regular..no skinny..no skipping the whip. I love the Peppermint Mocha Latte.  I get the tall (which is small) and it is a perfect amt.  I usually order it decaf, but not always.
