Oh no I'm not saying get medication if the band is to tight.  What I am saying is that if you have gone through all these test and they can't find the cause of the reflux then medication is definitely a more appropriate way to go.  Just seems like "cleaning your pouch" can't be good for your system in general.

Not barfing Sweetie, not barfing!!!  This is long after my food has digested.  My fill is never tight.  I don't overstuff my pouch, I don't PB (I will admit to grazing sometimes.)  I usually do not have food in my pouch - sometimes thick saliva??? Best, Leila

Leila, Hmmmm, that's weird.  I wonder why your food's still sitting there hours after eating?   Is your band too tight?  This whole banding thing is so strange!!  Seems everyone has a different way of dealing/living with it.  Do you have an overly sensitive gag reflex??  I know you said it's "just a cough", but I'm so paranoid about slippage that I'd be too afraid to do it! My naughty little thing is the occasional licking some Doritos and throwing away the chip!!  That's dumb, because I'm basically sucking on salt!!!!!! LOL Good luck on your journey!!! Hugs!!

How do you know what is in your pouch?  By feel and then by "not PBing."     Yikes.

What?  There are certain things I've learned like - - I don't eat spinach anymore - it clings to my upper pouch.  Usually there is nothing in my upper pouch - Oh wait  I STICK FOOT UP MY A$$ AND through Lap Band and upper pouch and CHECK!!!.   I wanted to be nice about answering you but sorry you've got the best of me. I don't vomit, and I do not PB !!! Hope you have a simple journey
