Big medicines rejection of tiffany?

I was so touched by this girls sittuation.It hurt me to see her be bassically sent away.Does anone have any info on Tifany,the girl that  is from shreveport that  moved to houston on the premise she would have surgury by the doctors on the big medicine show? I dont get on here much and  missed any previous discussions that Im sure where there.            

I am wondering about her as well as Rose (the lady who wasn't approved earlier in the series).  I wish there was follow-up, like maybe just a couple minutes so we know what happened to them. Debra

THAT EPISODE , AS MUCH AS I FELT BAD FOR HER , I UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DID IT. THE PERSON THAT CAME DOWN WITH HER ENDING UP LEAVING HER , SO SHE HAD  NO ONE TO TAKE CARE OF HER. SHE WAS UNABLE TO CARE FOR HERSELF LET ALONE DRIVE TO FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENTS. AND IF SHE HAD ANY POST SURGICAL PROBLEMS THERE WAS NO ONE THERE WITH HER. SECONDLY SHE HAD TO LOSE WEIGHT BEFORE THEY COULD SAFELY DO THE OPERATION (THATS WHY SHE MOVED THERE HOPING ONE OF THE DAVIS' WOULD.  SHE HAD NO MONEY AND COULD NOT AFFORD THE WEIGHT LOSS SHAKES , SO DR GARTH FOUND SOMEONE TO DONATE THEM TO HER. AT THE END WHEN THEY TOLD HER THEY COULD NOT DO IT-DR GARTH TOLD HER TO LOOK FOR A DOCTOR AROUND WHERE SHE LIVES (WHERE SHE HAS FAMILY/SUPPORT) SHE TOLD THEM THEY REFUSED TO DO HER AND HE SAID HE WOULD TALK TO THEM FOR HER AND THAT IT SHOULD BE A DIFFRENT OUTCOME IF HE CONTACTED THE DOCTOR. AS SAD AS IT WAS , IT WOULD OF BEEN A HUGE LIABILITY FOR THEM TO DO THE SURGERY KNOWING SHE WAS ALONE. THE SHOW HAS BEEN PRETTY GOOD AT SHOWING UPDATES ON PEOPLE SO HOPEFULLY THEY WILL DO ONE WITH HER.

There were a lot of things going on with Tiffany.  I really didn't feel sorry for her becasue she was over weight becasue she really never took responsiblity for what she had done to herself and I felt like she needed to be away from her family becasue they all were very heavy and not eating healthy and they were enabling her.  And from what I got she never did and reseach in her own state and she moved there before she ever saw the doctor, and she didn't even seem to know what the RYN even was .  They really didn't think things out at all.

I watched the same show and I went away with a different view than alot of people,fRom what I REmember Tiffany  had seen some doctors in shreveport and was told they would not do her surgury,but what I think the deal was is that she  probably has medicare,not medicaid and with that you have to pay several thousand dollars  out of pocket for weightloss surgury.I think either she herself or a fmaily or friend had found out about  this show and  from what I RECAL SHE HAD NOT SAW THE DOC BUT HAD TO HAD BEEN in contact with the doctors and show prior to dr garth accually going out there,otherwise she would not have been on show at all.Her and her family absulutly had to have  believed possibly led to believe by show producers that she  would  get this surgury there.And  that hospital does take medicare from louisisana residents,but not medicaid.The family would not have  gotten the  appartment and  gotten her there  otherwise.The appartment  and the trip there  most likely cost  them around $1000 .Nothing is cheap.I cannot see why the show producers upon speaking to her  did not straigten all this out  before she  made the trip.Its all for rateings,these reality shows feed off of stuff like this,they need some controversy thrown in to make  things interesting. Its very sad,the friend that left her there SUCKS! Like I told my husband  yesterday when we where talking about the show"tiffany  prolly wasnt very nice to  this guy ,but heck, its hard enough to be nice all the time when your a girl,much less be nice when your a fat girl  that cant even paint her own toenails.I really feel  for her sittuation regardless of how big she is and the fact she did it to herself. Every single one of us are here because we are fat,or once was fat,and did we not do this to ourselves. And  I dont know anyone out there that has never once needed help from someone.If It werent for Dr Chung in lake charles Id still be 350 pounds and maybe  dead by now at the rate I was going,he found out about my sittuation and offered hope to me where there was nothing left but hoplessness.He did a surgury on me  that was high risk at  that point and did this with no payment,I have medicaid and medicaid  only paid around 1500 total for my surgury,the hospital  basically ate the fee of the band itself and the  doctors and anestisiologist worked as volunteer.I have the  reciepts arpund here somewheres that shows what they paid the  hospital for my  surgury.The doctors office   got paid around 20 for my visists and fills after that,they only  covered I think 3 fills I have to pay $75  now out of pocket for any  fills.Medicaid has a cap. Her family is the best place,but they must  cut out all this  food.Its like an an all u can eat buffet 24 hours a day.
