OT: Anna Nicole Smith's weight

178 in her autopsy report. I cannot believe a court TV host had the nerve to say that she could not BELIEVE Anna weighed THAT MUCH at 5'11"!!!! I get to looking pretty good at 178 and 5'10!

the reason poor folk like Anna Nicole end up living the life they do is because of the way the press treat them. look at princess Di.  who was a confessed bullimic,  she would have been treated badly if she had gained weight like Sarah Ferguson.  We live in a shallow world.

That is a BMI of 24.8, which is "BMI NORMAL" What a sad commentary on society's obsession with thin.

Heck I am 5'2" and 178 sounds good to me. It is so sad that you have to live by those type standards when you are a celebrity in the public eye. And look at where it got her. Its a shame about her and her son. Then for someone to make those kind of remarks. You know the media has no heart.

Amen to that I'm 5'4' and I can't wait for 178!!!

It really IS a sad statement on our society, that a person with a BMI in the normal range should be spoken of derisively!! Bruce will be home from work in a few so I'm outa here.  (I'm in at a Fairfield Inn in Belleville Ontario.)

It's more than sad, it's disgusting... and quite frankly I think it should be criminal. What is wrong with those people that an actress who is a size 6 is considered buxom and curvacious. And it's just great that little girls in this world are trying to make themselves look like actresses who starve themselves and use heaven only knows what drugs to keep themselves a size 0 or smaller! When you can count the ridges in someone's sternum, there's a real problem!

Sorry, the whole thing just ticks me off.

I wish I weighed 178 and I am 5'5"!!! I think I was watching court tv and someone said she was in her HEAVY time again!!! These people are crazy!!! The whole life story of ANS is a shame.

Wish this mentality would change in my lifetime - but that's just dreaming. I curse Twiggy. I remember when that look became the rage and just dreaded it because was never going to look like that. They should be ashamed of releasing Anna's weight to the public. That  was so cruel - especially to the deceased. How tacky.
