Hey Jess, I know you have gotten a lot of suggestions and they are great, but I can tell you what worked for me. My doctore suggested this and I wish I had thought of it years ago.  Desenex powder.(sp)  Ya know the stuff you put on hot sweaty feet?? Yeah I know, but it works like a charm because it is has an anitfungal agent in it.  So not only does it keep you dry like powders do, but it kills the fungus that causes the nasty yeasty infections.  I have something called Hidradenitis Suppurativa (hs for short) which are like big nasty boil like bumps, that hurt like no other.  I get them in places that skin touches skin and bacteria can form and trust me, this stuff works to relieve even those symptoms or at least keep them at bay.  Simple, cheap and effective.  Love it. Hope it helps. Brenda

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...

Vampy....DO NOT use cornstarch!  The yeast growth feeds on it. Use baby powder only.  I learned this when one of my babies got a yeast type diaper rash.

I use Dry Idea Baby sent, l have found it works good too,, also l  have a cream that l put on if a rash or broken skin happens it is call Descort and it works like a miracle.. put it on and the next day gone,, unless it is broken skin,, then a couple of days,, Now normally l take my bath/shower,, dry myself off and then use my hair dryer to dry good and then put the roll on deorderant on,, now l very rarely get any rashes..  Powders are nice, but they cake after so long,,and you are back to square one,, where are deorderant you use under your arms where you sweat so why not under the belly..  Best of luck and hope this helps you ...... Thanks everyone for the wonderful ideas! I did just start working out again so this may be why it happened. I'll be careful. Thanks!

Ask your doctor or ob/gyn for  a prescription for lotrisone. They also have generics for this. It sounds as if you have a yeast infection, and the best treatment is a topical cream. I have it on hand since my c-section, I have my belly flap that tends to get inflamed after work or excerise. The cream has been a lifesaver!

I get this sometimes, and also under my breasts when I'm sweaty, and I find that applying coconut oil helps a lot.

Hi again, wanted to correct myself.  It's not secret roll on that I use it's the secret gel.   It has the alcohol in it.  BEWARE of broken skin.  It really has helped.   Thing that I went searching for that it cured too was that it helps so much with odor.  I think yeast has it's own special properties.  Yuck.  Take care all.
