Oh yes!  I eat the white cheddar ones.  I also love pop corn.  94% fat free kind (Orville Red. butter or the kettle corn for something sweeter).  I know so many bandsters that love it for an evening snack!  I dont' eat it every day, but maybe 3-4 times/month.  Ask your doctor why they are off limits.  That's a first that I've heard of them being a no-no.. but always check with the MD!

That's a first for me.  Swelling in the stomach?  Hmmmm...  I suppose it could.  I don't eat fast, so I guess if it does swell I don't notice  Just be careful with new foods.  I didn't realize that bananas could be a problem, so the first time I PB'd with them was a shock!  Even when eating very slowly and tiny bites, it won't go down... so just be careful with "flagged" food items (like bread, rice, dry chicken, rice cakes that your surgeon flagged, etc). I am not banded yet, but wondering about Rice Crackers, which my daughter and I have taken to.   They are very low fat, lightweight and easy to munch on.   Anyone know about them after banding? Asian Rice Crackers

I had to give up rice cakes   because I only like them with like an inch of butter on the top
