Hey everyone! Just wondering whether you knew if rice cakes were ok to eat or not? The reason i ask is that my doctor said that popcorn is a big no-no and rice cakes seem similar to popcorn to me!  So lemme know what you all think! Thanks in advance for any advice as i love rice cakes and it would be great to eat them again

I eat them often.  I love the butter toffee flavored ones!  Like a healthy version of Cracker Jack to me!

I am addicted to Quaker Quakes - mini cheddar cheese rice cakes.  Sooooo good!  But popcorn has never been a problem for me and my nutritionist/doctor have no prob with me eating it.
LOVIN' my band!

so, how many of these little rice cakes would you allow yourself to eat at one time? and i guess this would be considered a snack, right? Stationary Bike

Rice cakes are fine! Can't thnik of any reason they would not be, as long as you chew! The Quaker caramel ones are great - only 50 cal each, and great "crunch."  I think the doc he might have meant popcorn with all the goopy oils and stuff. Dry, Air-popped popcorn is an excellent treat -good fiber, and less than 100 cal for 3 whole cups.  Sandy R at goal

The 94% FF Air Popped with a little "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray is as good as the artery clogging stuff in the movie.  To spice it up, add a light sprinkle of gratted romano cheese.  They also sell in in individual small single serving bags now.  Just the perfect size.
