I haven't been to too many buffets since banding (not really the types of food that I am eating any more). But, I DON'T show any card or ask for any discount when I go. The way I figure it . . . these places lost money big time when I showed up pre-band since I was eating enough for 2 or 3 people! I think it's only fair for me to allow them to recoup some of the funds lost while they fed me during 20+ years of overeating. Actually, a couple of them have gone out of business . . . hummmmm, wonder how should I make amends to them . . . Ellen 219/187/170's by month end

Betty, you don't need one. Firstly, restaurants aren't under any obligation to honor them and secondly, you'll be eating like a normal thin person, not an RNY patient. Bandsters eat proper dietary portions, not microportions. So, at a restaurant, eat what you can and take home the rest for later...like normal thin people do... Nancy
