I wanted to let yall know that I am going to have surgery SOON. I have been fighting a twisted intestine for a lonnnnngggggg time now and it HAS to be fixed. It is not a permanent kink, but a twisting. He thinks that I also have adhesions that he can fix. I'll update later..... Dr.Freeman in Anniston will be doing the surgery. LOVE YALL!!! Lindy

Well, hello folks. I've been completely out of the loop for about 2 weeks now and I just got on my computer and thought that I would drop you all a little post and say hello. Thursday was my 1 year anniversary (Gail's too) and I couldn't have been more excited. My weight has been steady at 144 lbs but I have been loosing inches. That I am excited about also. I had my check-up along with all the blood work and everything turned out just fine. I have an appointment set up for Aug. 5th to meet with Dr. Allison in Huntsville for a PS consult. We'll see how that goes. Oh, I found a new love. Cappacino's (sp) but yet I don't like spending the $$ at the stores all the time. Hey Jacquie, I am so sorry to hear about your broke arm. I hope everything goes well with the heart monitor and sleep study. Good people sometimes have things happen that they don't deserve that makes them wonder why. And folks, in the midst of all this, she found time to find me a new, barely used, mattress and box springs, get them over here and put my sheets on it. I hope I don't have to keep THIS mattress and box springs for 54 years! I cannot wait to get a good night's sleep on it tonight. I had planned on going to bed the second Jacquie left, but there's this little thing called a television in my house... Oh well... I've been a bit absent myself lately, worrying with my parents, etc. They seem to be doing okay now...knock on wood! Aetna still has my papers in the "pending" status. Which means nothing really. I remember when I got my first denial letter. I received it the same day the person on the phone told me it was still pending. My stress level has my stomach doing weird things. I hope my ulcer hasn't come back. I hope everyone is doing well and please send good thoughts Jacquie's way. She's been so good to me. Love ya'll, Joni
