Hey Everybody!!! Boy, does it feel GOOD to be home!!! We left Friday a week ago and spent the evening with my family in Anniston. Saturday we got up and drove down through Opelika to Albany where we visited a favorite aunt and uncle before hitting the hotel in Valdosta for the evening. We arrived in Orlando on Sunday. Mike started his conference on Monday, and while he was at work, I would read next to the pool, work on school stuff in the room, and did some window shopping at a local outlet mall. I took advantage of being able to take naps in the afternoons too... I was a bum!!! In the evenings there was usually a reception or dinner to go to and those were usually fun...the only problem is sometimes getting Mike to turn off the work switch in his brain. I'm glad that he enjoys what he does though. We bought tickets to Disney World and never used them! Mike was just too wiped out in the evenings and it was soooooo stinking hot during the daytime. One good thing though, we got them with no expiration date, so we'll be able to either use them later or maybe even advertise them in the paper and sell them. I think they are for 5 or 6 days with a Park Hopper upgrade if anybody knows of anyone who needs tickets...have them get in touch with me. We decided that the only way we'll use them is if we BOTH go on vacation...which we say that we're going to do, we're just trying to figure out a time to go. We left Orlando on Friday and drove to Valdosta, GA where we spent the night with cousins of mine. I used to go and visit them before Mike and I got together, but just haven't been able to since then. It was so good to see them, we had a wonderful time...Mike had never met them and they really hit it off!!! Saturday morning we headed out and stopped in Opelika and had lunch with Dixie...we had SUCH a GREAT time!!! It was like we had known each other for the longest time! We were sad to have to leave when we did...but we had a family get together at my parent's house Saturday evening that we had to get back for. Sorry Dixie that I'm such a speed demon...I didn't realize you were trying to catch up or I would have slowed down! The dinner with my family was good. If we hadn't been so tired we probably would have driven on back to Huntsville last night! I passed out at about 8:45 and woke up at about 3:45 this morning. I dozed on and off until about 4:45 and then just got up. I think I was antsy to get home. Mom was up before 5:00 though, so she and I got to sit and visit for a while this morning. We were on the road at 7:00 and back here before 9:00. It was great to see everyone, but it feels oh soooo good to be back in my own house! Hey Linda! I order from Schwan's a pretty good bit. Yes, it is more expensive than buying regular groceries, but it also cuts down on the time in the kitchen and its cheaper than eating at most of the restaurants that we like. I'm trying to get my ducks in a row so that I can plan menus theoretically a week at a time and then do my shopping from that. Once school starts I usually cook on Saturday mornings to get a head start on the next week. I'll freeze half of what I fix to use later and then with what I've already cooked and a little cooking here and there we get through each week! Hope you are having a great weekeend! Love Becky

Hi Paige, I've been out of the loop, too. I try to keep up with everyone's posts, but a lot of times I just don't have time to respond. Working the midnight shift sux!
