Dang! I was jus****ching a little snippet of the news and it was talking about 45 minute long waits at the gas pumps and that there was a rumor that truckers were going on strike and we might not have available gasoline until Labor Day! Ok, I HAVE GOT TO GET TO BIRMINGHAM TOMORROW AND NEXT THURSDAY. This damned thing had better not make me have to postpone my surgery! I have 3/4 tank gas right now, which will get me to B'ham tomorrow, but it won't get me back, so ya'll send some good thoughts that I find a gas station that's open and has gas. Man, oh man, oh man. I always have so much trouble finding full service stations since my legs won't hold me up long enough to pump my gas. I don't know how I am going to function if I have to wait in line for 45 minutes at the gas tanks. I have an appt. in Decatur with my psychologist next Tuesday too, so I need gasoline! That's all I need...something else to worry about. I have enough trouble as it is. I got elected to create a message board thing for my family, so I did that and now one of my cousins is emailing me telling me she can't figure it out and I'm going to have to make it easier! Well, it's a yahoo group. You don't get much easier than that. Ok, the OH board is easier, but I can't fix one up like this. I tried to explain to her that all the things to click on were on the left hand side of the page and you just click on it and it tells you what to do. Nope, it's too hard. I am going to have to FIX IT, she says. Her daughter subscribed to it this afternoon, so maybe she can go over there and teach her mom how to use the computer. Geez. You just can't please anyone these days. Well, I am off to try to get some rest. It's gonna be a long day tomorrow driving to B'ham and back. Love, Joni

Hey Ya'll. As I posted earlier, I was relieved of my job duties earlier than I thought....so I am taking next week off before I start my NEW job on the 29th. I am glad for the break. The past 6 months have kicked my ass. I've decided to go somewhere by myself for a couple of days.....am leaning toward Silverstar in MS b/c I have free rooms there (more money to gamble ) AND I can lounge by the pool/get a massage (they have a cool spa there).....Even though I don't really NEED to spend the money, but damn I'm worth it (aren't I ) ..... Does anybody have Sunday and Monday off and want to tag along?? Love you all Kim

Hi Joni, I started posting back to the BB about 2 weeks ago. Someone sent me a very nice email saying that they had missed me. She told me that she noticed my name and email had changed so she would keep my secret for me if I wanted her too. I'm not really that concerned anymore about the BB. I've gotten over it, kinda. Sometimes the brother/sister/mom/dad/~ still annoy me, but I just don't post to them. Love you and support you, Gisela
