Jacquie -- you will be in my best thoughts and wishes as you go through surgery and recovery! How appropriate that you and Joni should be going through surgery at the same time so your recovery will be so close and similar! You two will be incredible support for each other -- and I know you already have a strong bond! I wish you both the best and hope that you will drop a line if there is anything any of us can do for you guys!
Much love and lots of well wishes ~

Jacquie,
I'll be thinking of you as your rebirthday comes. Praying, too. You will be fine.

In two hours I am leaving for Anniston. Then, in less than 24-hours, I will be lying on a hospital bed awaiting Dr. Freeman. Remember to pray for me.

Dear Mom:
I tried to reply to your email last night -- but my computer locked up (it's been doing that a lot here lately and it's driving me nuts!) When I finally got rebooted, I'm sorry to say that I forgot where I was until I saw your reply this morning!
I hope you are feeling better and am glad to hear you are being so pampered! I agree with Dad and my brother -- stay home! You deserve to rest and recoup -- work will still be there when you are back to 100% to return. Take care of you -- don't worry about Lexi -- she too will be there when you're back up to snuff!
I love you so much and appreciate all you do -- if I can do anything for you - you know I'm there!
Your loving daughter,
Perry

I went through the same thing you are going through when I was almost a year post-op. I posted to the main board and was told to log my consumption for a week (I used www.fitday.com - it's free). My caloric intake was between 900-1100 calories a day. I followed that up with a bit of research and found out that I actually wasn't consuming enough calories per day (shocker - http://www.weight-loss-i.com/calorie-needs-to-lose-weight.htm)! I upped my calories and initially gained a couple of pounds -- but within 2-3 weeks, the scale dropped again about 4 lbs. It took me 15 months to reach goal (-142 lbs. -- I had hoped to make it by my 1 year mark, but didn't) - so hang tough!
I don't know if your situation is the same as mine -- but you might read the link above and log your consumption. If nothing else, it will remind you of your food choices each week and show you what you did on weeks that you were successful and weeks that you weren't. Eventually, a pattern will develop.
Best wishes -- and thanks for the support!
Much love ~
T.

We're gonna have a great time! By the way, was going to ask if you wanted to ride together to the meeting in Decatur that morning?

Hey Lindy! I've missed you girl! And where is that Dixie?
Mine is Monday, Aug. 29 at 6:30 pm. If you're able to make it...with the drive...by all means, spend the night! Or, if you can't make it to either, you can always order online, or one of us can send you a catalog!
