Topic: I am eating like crazy today
Ok.....I need a kick in the butt today. I have eaten: 7:00AM Sour cream and onion potatoe chips ~ estimating 150 calories 7:30 AM 12 oz Rocamojo coffee w/ CC milk 90 Calories (but 20 grams protein) 9:30 AM 1/3 Godvia S/F Candy bar ~ est. 80 calories 10:00 - 11:30 Isopure protein drink 160 calories (but 40 grams of protein) 12:30 - meat and bacon out of jr bacon cheeseburger & 1/3 Ceasar side salad ~ estimating 250 calories 2:15 (now) small bag of kettle corn ~ estimating 180 calories If My estimates are anywhere close to accurate, I have already consumed at least 775 calories today and haven't even had dinner yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why am I doing this?????I've got to make some MAJOR decisions at work this week. I'm being asked to take on an additional account which would mean splitting my time/energy between two offices and instead of supporting 25 people, I would be supporting about 50 people ..... and in my industry, they are always very NEEDY people!!! I know that I am worried about this, but why am I eating???? I've noticed all week that I've been 'snacking' more than usual, but this is scarring me to death!!!! I haven't lost any weight (to speak of) in almost 3 weeks. I am fluxuating between 151-154......and want to see my goal of 128 at least once! I am so scared that I am through losing! I WILL NOT DO THIS, but I am so tempted to go up this popcorn. Old habits die hard I guess. Kick my a$$ now!!! Kim

Putting off housework. I have yard work to do this afternoon. I ran into my beautician at the gas station and she talked me into coming in to get a trim this afternoon. Id rather stay on here all day! Off to do the laundry, polishing and vacuming before I shower to go get my hair done, and may just go shop for some new drapes for my dining room and living room. I tired of looking at blinds! Catch up with you guys tonight. here is one for the road Little Billy: Little Billy came into the kitchen where his mother was making dinner. His birthday was coming up and he thought this was a good time to tell his mother what he wanted. "Mom, I want a bike for my birthday." Little Billy was a bit of a troublemaker. He had gotten into trouble at school and at home. Billy's mother asked him if he thought he deserved to get a bike for his birthday. Little Billy, of course, thought he did. Billy's mother, being a Christian woman, wanted him to reflect on his behavior over the last year and write a letter to God and tell him why he deserved a bike for his birthday. Little Billy stomped up the steps to his room and sat down to write God a letter. LETTER 1: Dear God, I have been a very good boy this year and I would like a bike for my birthday. I want a red one. Your friend, Billy Billy knew this wasn't true. He had not been a very good boy this year, so he tore up the letter and started over. LETTER 2: Dear God, This is your friend Billy. I have been a pretty good boy this year, and I would like a red bike for my birthday. Thank you, Billy Billy knew this wasn't true either. He tore up the letter and started again. LETTER 3: Dear God, I have been an OK boy this year and I would really like a red bike for my birthday. Billy Billy knew he could not send this letter to God either. Billy was very upset. He went downstairs and told his mother he wanted to go to church. Billy's mother thought her plan had worked because Billy looked very sad. " Just be home in time for dinner," his Mother said. Billy walked down the street to the church and up to the altar. He looked around to see if anyone was there. He picked up a statue of the Virgin Mary. He slipped it under his shirt and ran out of the church, down the street, into his house, and up to his room. He shut the door to his room and sat down with a piece of paper and a pen. Billy began to write his letter to God. LETTER 4: I'VE GOT YOUR MOM. IF YOU WANT TO SEE HER AGAIN, SEND THE BIKE. Signed YOU KNOW WHO Elspeth!

HMMM?????? Dangers in our society Doctors (A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000. (B) Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year are 120,000. (C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171. Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept. of Health Human Services. Guns: (A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. Yes, that is 80 million. (B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500. C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.0000188. Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners. Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do." Fact: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR. Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand. Out of concern for the public at large, I have withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention. Elspeth!

I do know it is the taste I am going for, I just happen to like em, but since I dont know what the long term effect might be, I have cut back on them and will just have to learn to live with it. It has stopped all the tightness in my chest tho, so I can only assume it was gas builing up , which I heard it would go into your shoulders, never thought it would happen but it has. Thanks! Elpeth!

Elspeth, I don't know...I've never heard of anyone using that much on a daily basis. Is the tightness still present? Perhaps cut back two a day for a couple of days and see if the tightness returns. I'm not sure if that amount would do any harm or not. lol...you know, its possible, you may just enjoy the flavors! Becky

Okay I have 2 new addicitions, some may think it is strange but I just cant stop chunking down a few extra Gas x chewables everday. I use between 10 and 16 per day, when I get home at night and get relaxed watch out, it removes all the gas that I have stored for the day. Is this harmful? I hd a nurse practioner at work tell me it was okay to have another few if it didnt work the first time. I dont think she intended for me to go overboard so I will ask her the same thing but I sure am curious. It started when I began haveing a tightness in my chest and shoulder that I thought was gas. I alternate between tropical fruit Tums and gas X and I must be absorbing the calcium from the Tums cuz my stools are clay colored. I just want to be sure Im not being suicidal over gas x and Tums. I feel fine, just have these 2 addicitions, what gives? Id hate for my headstone to read "OD'd on Gas X and Tums, live and learn"
