Update on Joni

I just spoke to Becky L, and to Debby, who is at the hospital with Joni, along with Renee, Kim, and Beth G. Joni did great and was able to have the surgery lap. Her liver was a little enlarged but they did a biopsy as a precaution. They expect her to spend the night in ICU, because of her sleep apnea and she will be moved to a room sometime tomorrow. Im going to let her rest today, and will go up in the morning. Love, Sandy

Girls, I just got home from the hospital and JONI is hanging like a trooper.....even told us this funny story about KMART about 20 minutes after getting to her room (after the 1st Morphine shot) . Her vitals and breathing are so good that she DID NOT go to ICU after all . She is in a regular room and seems to be handling her pain EXTREMEMLY WELL. Once again, so many good things are happening for Us all! Love you all Kim

I knew I should have checked email last night. How WONDERFUL! Im getting ready to go up there now, at this rate I better call and make sure she isnt on her way to be discharged! I just tried, the line is busy so will wait a few. Thanks for letting me know! Love, Sandy
