Not only do I have depression, now I have been diagnosed with Chronice Fatigue. I can't sleep. If I do go to bed I end up only sleeping about 3 hours total during the night. I was taking benedryl every night, but my husband was really worried about that and told my doctor I was taking and she told me not to cause it could make you gain weight. She gave some Lunesta and it did not work last night. I had to be at work at 4:30 am this morning and I went to bed around 10:30 and was up every hour on the hour. I think I might try taking 2 of them tonight. I am so tired right now, but I can't sleep. I am trying to get out of closing at work because it just messes me up even more. We will see. Ya'll take care and remember I love ya!! Linda PS--Funny thing is yesterday when I went to the doctor I had lost 2 more pounds. I am now down to 125. So much for gaining and I had been taking the benedryl for months.

So sorry you're having trouble sleeping. I can't sleep either. I take Ambien and it seems to help better than anything, but still....2 hours and I'm wide awake. Take care of yourself! We love you! Joni

How many milligrams is the Lunesta? Its one of those drugs you have to take when you lay down. Thats what the insert says, anyway. Its like Ambien, not suppose to make you real drowsy but it will work if you take it when you go to bed, being up and about makes it have a reverse effect. It only works for me, on the couch, in front of the TV. Now, I cant sleep unless the TV is on. Its neverending. I have had chronic fatgue syndrome, it is the PITS! Mine came secondary from Hepatitis B vaccine series, and it almost killed me. Fortunately, after I refused the 3rd shot in the series, I slowly, came back to life. I hope yours will not be as severe. Love, Sandy

I feel your pain Honey! I've struggled with severe insomnia for several years now and have not found ANYTHING that works. I'm now taking two different drugs for sleep and still am lucky to get three straight hours. Lunesta is no good for me but I hope it will work for you. Have you tried Tylenol PM? I know that works for a lot of people. Love you and sending good thoughts Kim
