Mike is on his way back from San Diego today and the flight from San Diego to Atlanta had to be diverted to Huntsville because of weather in Atlanta. Mike is sitting in a plane on the ground here in Huntsville with 6 other people who are coming to Huntsville and they won't let them off the plane!!! Can you believe that??? So, he's going to sit there for another half hour, then fly to Atlanta, then try to reschedule a flight since he will miss his...may even end up getting stuck there because of weather. Unbelievable to me....unbelievable. He was due in at 5:30...he's here at 4:00 but they won't let him off the plane...so now he'll be gettin in at who knows what time... They say its a security risk, but it could be handled if they just gave them their bags. I know...I'm the crazy ticked off wife...lol You better believe I'm going to be writing some letters on this one! Becky, the one

The craziness in this world never ceases to amaze me. Reminds me of a birthday card I sent to someone one time. It was mailed to a friend who lived just a few blocks from me. When she got it, it had been stamped with 6 different post offices from here to Huntsville to Texas to Dothan to Atlanta...can't remember the other one. And all it needed to do was go a few blocks. Security risk, my a$$. They are probably just thinking he might ask for a refund for the trip to Atlanta and back. Who knows what they are thinking. It appears that they are NOT thinking.

Hey...My husband is an air traffic controller. He says it happens sometimes. He was not working yesterday when it happened to husband. It has nothing to do with the air traffic controllers. It is strictly the Airliners decision. You should write to our congressman and tell him about it. If an airliner was coming in from another country and customs were not available then they can not let them off until customs is ready. But that was not the case for your husband since he was coming in from San Diego. Sounds like that the airliner your husband went through has poor customer service. I hope he made home safely. Love, Linda
