New Job Opportunity

Hey guys! I wanted to let you all know that I am considering taking on a second job as a consultant for Southern Living at Home in addition to my teaching responsibilities at school. I think I'd like to do it and I think I would be good at it, but I don't want to jump into it without thinking carefully about it. I want to make the right decision...whether or not I should do it...and that it would be a blessing for my family if I do choose to proceed with it. Thanks for listening... Becky

OMG Kim! I'm so excited...to find someone who has actually not only heard of SLAH but loves their stuff too! Fantabulous!!! NO, I didn't know that Gail Pittman had a store in Destin! Have you seen the new catalog? If not, I'll send one to you just as soon as my stuff arrives. I'm trying to get things together to launch the new business before I go back to school. I've been sitting looking through the catalog picking out stuff that I want! I'm a happy camper! Becky

WOW..LOVE that magazine! I have all their cookbooks from the 70's down to the 2004 edition. I need to go get the 2005 edition and keep it going. I inherited my mothers cookbook collection and Ive been offered more money for the Southern Living collection than any of the other 200 cookbooks she had! I will never sell the Southern Living collection, will just pass it on to my daughter. I say go with your FIRST instincts on this and follow your heart, they will NEVER let you down. Sandy, I'm going for it! I've ordered my starter packet and have already started looking through the catalog...I see so much stuff that I like! I've always liked the magazines and the cookbooks...I never knew that you could buy all the neat home decor, dishes, etc. that they show in their magazines! If you'd like to see one, I'd be happy to send you a catelog when mine arrive! Becky

Hey Becky!! I am going to do this too!! How exciting. I was just discussing it with my husband yesterday. I haven't ordered my start up kit yet. I will do that probably Monday or Tuesday. Linda, That's great!!! I just got my starter kit this morning...I'm so excited...I want to open it right now, but I can't. Painters are coming on Monday and I've got to get ready for them first.
