My bloodwork is relatively normal, but I am going to have to have a D & C to see why I am bleeding so heavily. My blood pressure was 160/102 which was upsetting because my blood pressure is usually okay. I'm supposed to go get a blood pressure monitor and take it for two weeks and see if it's going to be an everyday thing. He didn't want to put me on blood pressure pills if it was just today. If it stays high for two weeks, I guess he will put me on meds. He said a lot of insurances will pay for a blood pressure monitor, then he paused and said, "But yours probably won't." (He is familliar with Aetna.) So there's another expense. Still no news on my dad's tests, but my mother went to the doctor today and got her some medicine, so everyone is under a doctor's care these days. I feel like my problems would not even be an issue if I could have had WLS a few months ago. I hope that it won't be delayed (if I ever get an approval) because of my female troubles. Well, I am off to try to go back to sleep. I am having so much trouble sleeping. Doesn't help that every time I drift off to sleep, the phone rings....sigh. My parents' wedding anniversary was today. They've been married 66 years. Unbelieveable. Ok, I'm off to sleep. I'm not sure when I will have to trek back to Decatur to have the D & C done. Hopefully not tomorrow. I need a day to rest. Love ya'll, Joni

(((((((((((sweet Joni))))))))))))sorry you're having a hard time right now. Still sending out good thoughts for you and your family. I thought about you yesterday when I was reading on the main board and somebody was so excited because they got their approval from AETNA!!!!! Maybe that's a sign of something good happening for you too. I can not WAIT for you to be a loser Kim

Joni Read my profile entry from last July (o4) I was in the same boat as you and it's hereditary for my family, however its' treatable with doubling up on birth control pills (Seasonale is a good choice, too) and/or hysterectomy. I would have already had a hysterectomy, but I want a baby someday, and I am not gonna settle for losing that chance. I will also adopt, too, but you get the picture I hope you find the culprit of this problem sweetie and PLEASE keep me updated ok?
