Hey everybody!!
How are you all??? I have been working a lot. I work 45 hours a week now. I wish so badly I could find a job where I could be with my family more. But that is the price we are paying for a new house. Speaking of my new house, Frank and I found out today that Madison has not approved Phase II of Oxford yet. That is why they have not started building yet. Looks like at the earliest it will be September when they start building it. I was so looking forward to being in my new house by Christmas, well we won't be. I am so dissappointed. Good things come to those who wait. That is what I keep telling myself. This give us more time to sell our house too. If we have not sold this one before we close on the new one Frank says we are still getting the new one. We can still sell this one. Anyway, I have missed all of you! My schedule is different almost everyday. That is the way it goes when you work in fast food. I am the first assistant manager at the one on the corner of Max Luther and the Parkway. It is the newer one. I have also been busy doing school supply shopping and school clothes shopping. I am not done with either one of them yet. I am doing great with my weight loss. Actually I wish I could quit loosing weight. I eat at the very least 6 times a day. And I snack in between. I do this just to maintain at 128. I went to the thrift store a few weeks ago and bought a size 2 pair of shorts. I came home couldn't button them, well yesterday I did button them. They are still tight and I won't wear them until I can fit into them, but I can button them. I wanted to be a size 10, but I got smaller. I wish I could get a breast job done. But my insurance won't cover it. Oh well....maybe one of these days.
I am just talking about everything and I hope I don't bore any of you. Have any of you order from Swchan's? We had their beef guloush the other night and it was soooo good. We have already made a list of the other stuff we want to try. It is costly, but it is soooo good. Did I say that already?? LOL....
I am asking everyone I know cause I really need some help with this, we need a weekend babysitter. From 7:30am til 5:30pm and Saturday and Sunday. Sometimes it won't be for the whole time and sometimes it will. My hubby works weird shifts. In fact in about a month he will be off Saturday and Sundays for 4 weeks and then will have to start working them again. Anyway, if you know of anyone who would be interested please let me know. Or you can give them my phone number. We will pay them.
Well my dear husband wants to go out for a few minutes. Ya'll take care and know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love to all!!
Linda
So good to hear from you Linda!
I order from Schwan's on occasion. They do have some good food. I like their banana pops. They do cost a good bit more than regular stores, but it's one less trip I have to make to Wal-Mart, PLUS it's cheaper in the long run because if I go to get 5 things at Wal-Mart, I will find 40 more things I think I need. If I order 5 things from Schwan's, that's all they bring.
Good luck on the house. I hate to get my mind set on a certain time and then have to wait. Like I was hoping to have WLS the first week in July....hmmm.....that didn't happen. If the insurance will behave, maybe September...
Love you,
Joni
Hey Linda!
I order from Schwan's a pretty good bit. Yes, it is more expensive than buying regular groceries, but it also cuts down on the time in the kitchen and its cheaper than eating at most of the restaurants that we like.
I'm trying to get my ducks in a row so that I can plan menus theoretically a week at a time and then do my shopping from that. Once school starts I usually cook on Saturday mornings to get a head start on the next week. I'll freeze half of what I fix to use later and then with what I've already cooked and a little cooking here and there we get through each week!
Hope you are having a great weekeend!
Love Becky
