BEEN A LONG TIME
I finally got the link to come see you guys. WHAT THE HECK HAVE YOU BEEN DOING? I miss my support system greatly. Please tell me what is going on in your lives. I have moved into a new house that is falling apart terribly. I am working 2 jobs, but I like them both so it isnt really a problem. Me and Daryl broke up and he is gone for the summer. I met a new guy while I was in Daytona and it was wonderful for the first 2 weeks. We talked on the phone for 46 hours over the last 2 weeks. See, he lives in Cincinnati. So, I thought it could be something great. You would understand too if I had told you all the things we were able to talk about. I had been praying to God for a very long time to bring me someone who was around my age, never been married, no kids, decent job, intelligent, never been in jail and would love me for me. I know, crazy thoughts but then this guy just appeared at the airport. He fits every category plus some. He is romantic, funny, loving, outdoorsy, and he is H-O-T HOT!!! But, he is scared of me taking Daryl back and he is scared of being hurt and he is scared of the distance. But, he told me he hasnt been this happy in 7 years. DOES IT MAKE SENSE FOR US TO NOT TRY TO BE TOGETHER???? No, it doesnt to me. But, even though my heart is breaking, I am still doing ok. I have plenty going on to keep my mind off of things. Sorry, I talked your ears off. Please share with me how everyone is.

Hi Skinny Girl!
Well, if you've been praying for a long time for someone and there he is, what is the problem? In your prayers, did you specify "and he has to live here in Alabama?" No? Well, then don't complain about him being in Cincinnati! Just pack your bags! LOL
Time will tell. I'm glad you've found someone you can talk to. Conversation skills are important. Being H-O-T HOT helps, but in the long run, having someone to talk to is more important. But make him work for it. Tell him Daryl is gone for the summer, so he has a couple of more months to work his ass off to impress you. Just kidding...I think.
You deserve the very best of everything, men included!
You and your little size 11's! I'm green with envy on that one!
Love you,
Joni who is so glad to see Heather posting again!
Hey Honey You've been on my mind and I am thrilled to see you are back! Sounds like you are living life to the fullest. Keep on praying about the new guy.....it will all be just as it should be. I believe there is no such thing as coincidence....only small miracles. You met this guy for a reason.
Take care and keep us updated
Kim
oh yeah, congrats on the size 11's
Congrats on the loss! You are way overdue for a new photo! I say follow your heart. Living in Cincinnati might be the answers to your prayers and a lifetime of happiness. You never know until you give it a shot and see, or maybe he can come down this way and see what is available but one thing for sure, long distance relationships are hard and usually dont work. You remind me of a close friend. She went to Ft. Walton on vacation and met a guy from Atlanta. She changed over her nursing liscense to Georgia, and moved, to be closer to him. They have been happily married for 5 years now with a 3 yr old son, so there are happy endings after all. Best of luck!
Im taking it slow and day by day, Ive lost 50 pounds and feel great. Now Im searching for the perfect tat to celebrate my 50 pound loss! Otherwise still looking for that dream job, that keeps hiding from me so Im venturing into Birmingham and see if I get a bite or two. There certainly are not any dream jobs waiting around here. Change is GOOD so I am looking for a big change in career and life in general.

Heather! Sweetheart! So glad to see you posting. You better bookmark this message board so you don't lose us again!
I am so glad things are settling for you! And about this guy, why not go for it! Joni is right, you never said he had to be from Alabama. Just follow your heart and make sure you are moving forward without contempt for Daryl. Take it slow and listen to yourself. You know what you need. I think of you often and miss seeing your smiling face.
