Is it HOT enuff yet?

Morning Ladies! Is it HOT enough for you guys yet? I was out in this heat yesterday, driving to see my grandmother. My air conditiong went out in the car. I never realized how HOT and humid it was until then! I stayed inside all last summer. Not because of the heat, but because I just hid from the public anyway and felt more comfortable, staying home alone and not dealing with the public. I dont recall it being this hot last year. I dont venture out much these days either unless I have to go to work, pay a bill or go shopping, being nocturnal, I do as much as I can at night, with the exception of bill paying. I wanna know which bank has the neat idea of paying all your bills online? I know youve seen the commercials, before you can run a bath, pop a bag of popcorn or the kids can get ready for bed, you can pay all your bills online. It just looks too easy, but I need to look into this. Gas is back up at the pumps, and pretty soon you wont be able to afford to go pay the bills! Whats on board for today? I have gotton the paint and now that my daughter has moved out. I am going to empty her closet and pack the rest she has just left in there, and start painting today. Im using the new KILZ Colors paint. Its suppose to only take one coat and cover everything, I hope that is the case, she painted the room a dark maroon color, it makes the room look so small and its a BIG room! Im painting it a very light, soft lavender. Its so light you can just see a hint of lavender. If one coat, covers this dark paint, it will be worth the 18 bucks a gallon I paid for it. The heat just about does me in. It doesn't matter if I'm out in it for 5 minutes or a hour, I get sick. Even driving to Decatur every two weeks, the heat makes me sick. I have A/C in the car...so far...but the small amount of time it takes to cool off once you get into the oven that your car becomes out in the sun, I get sick. There's supposed to be an herb that helps with sweating and overheating, but I forgot what it was. I think some menopause hormones might help too. I just burn up all the time. I always was hot-natured, but since gaining so much weight, it's just gotten worse. Most banks will let you pay your bills online, but you have to have a checking account with them. I want to get most of mine on the thing where they just take it out every month, but I had a problem a few times where they had access to my account and took double the amount or in the case of the electric dept., they took out for someone else's account by mistake and ended up bouncing some other checks I had written. My utilities at the time were normally about $150 and they just helped themselves to about $500. I pay my cell phone and car insurance over the phone, but some companies charge you a big fee to do that. I can't remember what it is, but one of the companies I do business with...they charge $10 to take your payment over the phone. I asked them, "but isn't it easier on you all to do it on the phone rather than having people traipsing through your building?" She said, "Yes, it is much easier on us." I said, "So, that being the case, you want to charge your customers $10 for helping you out?" I declined to pay it on the phone. $10! What a rip off. So much of this crap oughta be illegal. Enjoy your painting! I'm going to my parents' house for the weekly lunch and to do my laundry. I have to go to McDonald's for the cheeseburgers. Oh, what I would give to just stay in bed with the A/C blasting. The air conditioner at my parents' is in the dining room, so while we eat, they turn the A/C off and I get sick, sick, sick. Last week, I was sick for about 6 hours. But oh well, that's what's got to be done. Love, Joni

Someone told me to try Estroven, that is suppose to be a herbal hormone replacement out on the market. I havent tried em yet. I hope to get my GYN to check my levels first. They have never been checked to my knowledge and I just want to know where they stand myself Sandy

I just got home form work. My DH gets home around 2pm. And we are kidless until tomorrow night. We both have to work tomorrow. But this evening will be nice cause we can just spend it together. I have already started a load of laundry and will do the dishes, vaccum, and just tidy up the house. We have not had any offers on our house yet. Frank (my husband) is really dissappointed cause no on has offered us anything for our house. We have had a lot of people come look at it, but nothing has ever came up. Oh well, I tell him we have until November. They haven't even started building our new house yet. They are suppose to start building sometime this month. I am so excited about that. Anyway.... We pay our bills online through Compass. They are great about it. Well we pay most of them online. My husband does our budget and he loves paying them online. It does save time and stamps. We are gonna wallpaper our dining room. We hope it will be more attractive when people come to look at our house. You take care. Love, Linda

Good luck with selling the house Linda. Ive been watching that show on cable where they go in and prepare a house to sell. I wouldnt go through all the major make overs they go through just to sell but it never hurts to add a few touches here and there to entice someone. I watched last night and this lady even had the sellers clean out closets and purchase new shower curtains and bathroom rugs before she would bring clients in to look at it. Have a great 4th! Sandy
