small????????
Ya'll, I am just about to die.....I just got back from Proffitts (shopping again, but hey at least I wasn't eating )......they are having this GREAT sale and I went to get some work clothes.....I just bought 3 outfits in the petite department all size SMALL pants and MEDIUM Tops.......Do you think they are sized wrong?? I weigh 145 pounds.....now the dresses that I tried on.....size 12 and 10 two different brands.....they both fit (but I didn't buy them). I am only 5' tall.....so I know if I were taller I would be wearing smaller sizes.....but my delima is this: If I'm wearing a size "small"" in petites now @ 145 pounds....what will happen if I lose this last 20 pounds (125 is my goal)??? What do you all think?
Dazed and confused,
Kim
This is reminding me of a friend I used to have years ago. She was so tiny she had to shop in the children's section. Only problem was...she was kind of...ok, EXTREMELY wild. She wanted the sleaziest, ****tiest clothes she could find....not something you can find in the children's section....at least not often. She had a tough time of it.
All I can suggest is...do you sew?
Mary Kate and Ashley have some nice stuff! When I used to make dolls, I was always in the children's section looking for clothes...the dolls I made wore either size 0-3 months or size 3T. Mary Kate and Ashley's stuff was always too big for my dolls, but I used to think man, I wish that came in a 3T! Don't be gettin' down to a 3T though.
I just wish I could get back in my size 26 jeans. Man, when I couldn't even get them up over my hips, that was depressing.
Enjoy your shrinkage! That reminds me of George on Seinfeld and his shrinkage. Your shrinkage is good; his was not.
We love you, Tiny Kim!

It is possible. I am 5'9" and cant believe at 257 pounds I am wearing 18/20's! I wore them when I was at 220 so I wonder WHAT size I will be in when I reach the low 200's One thing, some clothes are made differently so you may be in petites in one store, and a small in other's. I wish I loved to shop but I still absolutely HATE shopping for clothes. this is another example of when your not loseing pounds, you ARE loseing inches!
Love,
Sandy
