don't know about this...
I just got back from the doctor.
He found a HUGE lump where my "new" stomach is supposed to be at the base of my esophagus.
I don't know if I've told yall, but I can't eat nowadays, and I've got bad gag/spit reflexes. I can get about 2 bites down, the rest comes back up.
He took blood, already said I'm not normal, doing good at ALL, and he may have to admit me this weekend to DCH.
I go Friday to have my ultrasound on the "lump" and my gallbladder.
He's even going to talk to Dr. Stahl this week...
I don't know how to handle this stuff...
Anyone ever dealt with "huge lump" between the ribs at the bottom of the esophagus/beginning of stoma?
I need support.
For the past couple of days, I've HAD to take about 2-5hour long naps, because I can't get around and can't do anything, can't eat, think, nothing.
I'm worried.

Correction:
They're sending me to DCH in the morning for my ultrasound, and HOPEFULLY i'll be able to come back home...dr's office just called and moved the date up quicker, and OH BOY does that make me feel better.
Thanks Kim for your support ((((((hugs)))))) I'm SO glad yall had fun on your trip Sounds exciting
Beth,
I'm so glad to hear that they went ahead and scheduled your ultrasound. I'm not sure where you're located, but if you're not terribly far and you want someone to go with you...let me know...or if they admit you and you need someone to hold your hand, I'll be there.
Love ya chicky...keep us posted!
Becky
Oh Beth, I'm so sorry. That's gotta suck big time. I don't know why things can't just go smoothly. Damn it! You had your surgery. Things should be wonderful for you and now this.
I am so glad you went to the doctor and they are going to FIX IT. I know another surgery must seem insurmountable, but if it's gotta be done, it's gotta be done.
Take care of yourself and nap all you can.
We love you!
Joni
Hey Beth...
I am so sorry to hear about your problems. You will be in my thoughts and especially tomorrow. Please keep us posted. You have all of us here rooting for you and we will all be here to support you whenever you need us. If you have to be admitted, please have someone to post to the board so we may check and see how you are. I know that whatever it is...they will find it and correct it. Gisella had some problems post op, if she reads this maybe she can shed some light.
Love,
Beth G
Thanks (((((((((HUGS)))))))))) EVERYONE
I'm still feeling rotten, and I'm about to go to bed soon, probably, still can't "rest" well but lying down does help
My phone number is: 205-886-5022
Now, the weird thing is, when I was laying out today (before doc appt) i had my phone exposed to the sun for almost 2 hrs and NOW I can't call out or get incoming calls and I don't know if my text messaging works I'm going to call TMobile as soon as I post this and see what is going on...
Love you guys and I will post updates asap
Got my phone straightened out LOL it was a network outage and they fixed it within a couple of hours......
Kim, I really wish I could meet yall for Mexican food this weekend Think of me and that cheese dip
Have fun and be careful girlies
Love you all
BTW on the main board on my post (about this problem) E had to tarnish my post, and didn't even say anything to ME but to some other lady.....what a BIOTCH
You still have my numbers? If I dont hear from you by lunch Im checking at DCH. I have to go in for my lab tomorrow so I will be there anyway, now I gotta know your last name cuz I dont think the recptionist will know a Beth H from the IG board. I *think* I have it but you know Im a ditz.
If your not seeing Dr. Bilton, and need a bariatric surgeon locally I know I am somewhat biased but I found his website today. If it makes you feel any better, my coworker had her surgery in Birmingham, and had this same kind of complication. It was her gallbladder and Dr. B saw her for that here.
