Boy have I been busy! (Long)
Hi Everyone!
Boy have things been hectic for me the last week! As most of you may know, Dale and I put a bid in for a house on Saturday and found out we got it on Monday! I am so overjoyed! Dale and I have been actively looking for a house since March of 2004 and finally found "the one"! I will put some photos up for you guys to see soon! I am at work now and can't get into my server to post them from here!
As far as everything goes, I have been working my tail off since Monday getting my house ready to go on the market. The real eatate agent will be over Saturday to sign the contract and to help us determine how much to sell it for.
Boy it is amazing how much crap you can accumulate over the years! I have been boxing things up and somewhat trying to get the house organized but I am loosing the battle! Who knew you could have so much stuff stored away that you don't even remember having! I will get this done but it is quite overwhelming! I will be glad when this is done and over with because I am already at my witts end!
I hope this finds everyone well and I promise I will check in more! I love you all!
Gail
Congrats on the house Gail! Let me know if there is anything I can help you with (I'm in Real Estate). I still have boxes of CRAP packed up in my basement that has been boxed up for YEARS that one day I will go through. We are actually thinking about adding about 1500 square feet to our house - as soon as I get the time to start looking at plans and such. Good luck to you and I am soo happy for you

Hey Gail!!! Congrats on the house. I know you are excited. To find the house is very exciting. Good luck in selling your house. I understand about the packing. I packed some stuff just to get a lot out of our old house to get it ready to sell and we already have stuff in storage. The storage room is the biggest and it is almost full. I can't wait to see your pictures....
Love,
Linda
Hi Linda! GLad to see you posting, I hope this means you are feeling much better! Thanks for the congrats! I am really not looking forward to all the work but I have a lot to look forward to after the fact! What is so funny is that our storage shed is close to packed already and we still have more to put in there.
Gail
Congratulations Gail!
I dont envy the job ahead. Im not leaving this house unless the rent goes up then I will look for something to BUY, but I have accumulated TOO MUCH over the years too and everytime I move, I throw away but it seems to grow. One problem is I am very sentimental and have to hang onto memories. I cant throw out memories, so I have things after my mom's death, and ALOT after my sister's death, that I just can not part with until the day I die. I must start going through it when my daughter moves out, and send some of it with her. I save the stupidiest stuff, with no reasoning behind it other than it holds a memory. I KNOW what the problem is, I just have to learn not to hang on to so much.
Cant wait to see the pics!
Love,
Sandy
