Watch out Biloxi....here I come!!!
Well, we decided to go to Biloxi for a couple of days and I am so EXCITED We will be leaving early Sunday and staying Sunday and Monday nights and returning Tuesday. I am so ready.....I started trying on outfits last night ....I'm going to Victorias Secret today to look for a new "outfit" since I haven't bought any lingerie since WLS I have the cutest linen/gauzy white dress with embroidered flowers on it that I'm going to wear on the Sunset Cruise Sunday night! It feels SO GOOD to get excited about clothes and know that I can CHOOSE what to wear and not just "cover up" . More important, my SO took care of boarding ALL the animals and making arrangements (usually I have to do EVERYTHING) for the outside dogs to be taken care of.....that tells me that she is excited too and ya'll don't know how much that means!!! For someone that is SUCH a homebody to get excited about doing something that I know she is doing for ME, that means the world to me.
I'm so excited I don't know if I can make it until Sunday
Hugs to you all and thanks for all the suggestions!!

Have a BLAST! I lived in Biloxi, growing up, the place has changed ALOT but if you see a bridge that spans across the street, as you drive the scenic route, that used to be the old Surf and Sands Hotel. I lived 2 blocks from there and grew up playing at the hotel. The owners daughter was a friend. Just behind that (I think) may be a little on down to the left is a restaurant I know is still there. I cant remember the name of it but it is built over the ocean. When you go in the dining area they have large bay windows all across the room and all you can see is water, no land. The food is awesome! The atmosphere is unbelieveable, just very calming and romantic, heck I may take a trip down there one day just to go to this restaurant!
Have a safe trip!
Love,
Sandy
Oh Sandy, that sounds so pretty and Romantic .....we may have to check that out!! It's been a couple of years since i've been to Biloxi and Pam's NEVER been, so i know we will have a blast. I can't wait just to be away from my REALITY for a few days (not that reality is bad......but sometimes I just want to say "stop, I want OFF")
Hugs,
Kim
It sits near one of the casinos. NOT the BIG Casino, if you get that far you have passed it, I think the name of the casino was something Belle or Queen (arent they all...LOL) its more like a riverboat casino, you can see the casino from the parking lot of the restaurant. It looks like a wood framed building , sitting on land, you walk up the pier like structure to go inside, once inside there is nothing bu****er and a gorgeous view!
I wanna escape so bad it isnt even funny! Have fun on yours and take lots of pictures!
Love,
Sandy
It's so good to get away...especially when you need the break! I hope this is a great trip for you both and that you come back refreshed, rejeuvenated, and renewed! Oh! There's a fantastic italian restaurant...I can't remember the name...but we found it last year when we were there. If you're going 90 West toward Gulfport and you pass TresureBay on your left and Le Chateau Inn on your right...it will be on your right...seems like up on a bit of a hill. Have a great time!
