Recipe ~ Mississippi Sin Dip
Mississippi Sin Dip
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (8 oz)
1 pkg. cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup chopped cooked ham
1/3 cup chopped green chiles
1/3 cup chopped green onions
1/8 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 loaf of Hawaiian Bread
Combine first 7 ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring well. Set dip aside.
Cut a thin slice from the top of bread loaf; set slice aside. Using a gentle sawing motion, cut vertically to but not through, bottom of the loaf making sure that you are 1/2 inch from the edge. Lift out center of loaf; cut into 1 inch cubes and set aside. Fill hollowed bread loaf with dip; cover with reserved top slice of bread loaf. Wrap with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with bread cubes, crackers or tortilla chips.
Makes about 4 cups of dip.
This is absolutely YUMMY! I just had to post it for you all.
Love ya,
Paige
Dang, that sounds good. I love Hawaiian bread! Love all the other stuff too, except for ham, but I could substitute chicken.
Just what I need...another addiction!
I acquired one addiction today....Tuscan Garlic Chicken...oh my god...what an awesome delight that was. I've been having some problems with my taste buds and nothing seems to taste good, but Tuscan Garlic Chicken....wow. That stuff was pretty danged good.
