Joni...quick question

Hey girl, Aren't you getting close to your 6 month diet mark? I know you are doing your surgery where I work at. I am only working weekends now so I was thinking that I could come see you when you have the surgery and be of support and be sure they treat you right....hehe I know you don't have family in this area...so I will be your sister...LOL Keep me posted. Oh Beth, it seems like the closer I get, the further away it seems. I will be at the end of my 6 months diet on June 27th. Of course, we then have to fax in the papers again...and wait. Last time, I called them often and they didn't have any record of it, it hadn't gone to review yet. They were supposed to have 30 days to make a decision. But after 30 days, I called and it had just gone to "review." Apparently, they have 30 days to make a decision...after it goes to review. So it took them over 60 days to make a decision the last time and it was denied. So it could be September before they make a decision and then I have no guarantee they will approve it then either. I know they will fight it. Michael C. on the BB had told me he would help me with an appeal letter. I don't know if he will still do that or not. He seems very level-headed and perhaps won't be swayed by the boycott of me on the BB, but they have been a lot of people on there whom I wouldn't have thought would be swayed and they were, so who knows? Anyway, I am just biding my time, doing the diet and waiting. I have not lost weight because the doc has me on a 1400 calorie diet, which I cannot lose weight on. I am afraid they will say I can't have the surgery because I haven't lost the weight, or will suggest I go on another 6 months diet with a lower calorie count. So I don't know. I would love for you to come to see me. Especially since I will be in the town where my stalker is. I might need protection! Love, Joni
