Friday the 13th!!
I consider Friday the 13th a LUCKY day for me since I'm Wiccan. Also consider it EXTREMELY lucky when a black cat crosses my path.
Today is Michael Cappellone's birthday...for those of you from the other board. He is off to California to see his family and friends for a few days though. I started to send him a birthday card, but he wasn't on the Christmas card list we got.
I haven't done much of anything today, just laid around and watched some TV. I need to go downstairs and check my mail, but I'm not really wanting to get dressed and walk down the hall, go down the elevator and walk around to the mailboxes. I am so lazy.
It is interesting how some people's minds work. I used to have a friend in Florida who is very intelligent, very eloquent and yet she is so superstitious about EVERYTHING. She just about lost it over Y2K in 2000. She took all her money out of the bank and stocked up on enough food to feed everyone she knew. I'll bet she spent $5000 on canned goods. Plus, she always flies home to visit her family in Massachusetts every Christmas and New Years, but she was even scared to fly during that time. She was a nervous wreck for about 3 months over that. And then nothing happened.

Joni, I have had my four-leaf clover tattoo for a loooong time! My first one I got was a little tiny one on my right ankle and it was so small it looked like a green dot but I was kinda nervous bout getting it but about 4 years ago I got it fixed up.... a little bigger, outlined & Scott's name beside it 
I also have a rose on my shoulder and I want another one but not sure what but I think i want it on the back of my neck, maybe a butterfly, not sure yet; still waiting on that 100 lb mark so I can get my next one. I was 1 lb away but sad to say I'm now 4 lbs away. 
I'll get there though... as soon as I finish off these chocolate covered almonds!
My black cat is the kitten that came to me Christmas morning around 1:00 a.m. if you remember the story from the "other" board. We decided to name him J.C. for Jingle Cat and it also works because my other cat is named K.C. for ummmm.... Kitty Cat (how original) K.C. is my one-eyed wonder kitty who was a stray with an injured eye when we found her as a kitten. Vet recommended removing the eye so we did... K.C. is my thousand dollar stray cat but she's been work every penny of it but there is a problem.... We had her "fixed" and now I thinks he needs gastric bypass surgery (ask Gisela, she can vouch). The ole girl gets no exercise other than jumping the dog gates in my house to keep the dogs out of the dining room/kitchen and in the back of the house to keep the dogs from "snacking" in the litter box ( i know i know, TMI TMI) 
I have 10 dogs in case you didn't know (8 of which are all inside dogs and 2 outside big boys).
Is anyone going to the Anniston picnic or have anyother plans for that weekend???

Snacking in the litter box....hmmm, well THAT's a delicacy I've never tried.
I do remember all your dogs now....I remember you said something about them when I dogsat for my sister. You said I should come dogsit for your zoo! And I remember wishing I wasn't crippled and could handle that many dogs because it sounded like fun! I love them 4 legged critters!
