Deductible Question (Blue Shield PPO 90%-10%)

I have met the criteria of my surgeon and my insurance company, and I fully expect to be approved within the next couple of weeks. My question is that I may not have enough to my portion of the expenses and/or the deductible. A friend of mine told me that OH had a link or a service to help with funding towards the deductible, or, possibly information that I can submit to my insurance carrier to reduce the fees. Does anyone have information about this? My surgeon in Dr. Higa of the ALSA group, and, my insurance is BlueShield.
