If you have Medicare and are waiting to have the surgery, better check that your hospital is a Center of Excellence or it won't be covered as of Fed.21, 2006 If you are unfortunate enough to live in New England you will find very few that are. None of the hospitals in NH or Mass. do and only 1 in Bangor Maine. Good luck

Hi, my surgery has been put on the back burner, there is no centers of excellence hospitals in Arkansas. But my hospital of choice already meets and exceeds their expectations and applied the day the new changes were announced, so I just have to wait.
