Tummy tuck coverage

I found out last night that I have a hernia. My doctor mentioned that maybe I could get my insurance to pay for the tummy tuck because of the hernia repair. I was wondering if anyone else has had any luck with this. Has anyone ever had a tummy tuck covered by their insurance? Thanks so much! I have United Health Care.

I have heard that most are able to get those types of surgeries approved when you are having continual rashes and yeast infections due to the excess skin. My aunt and cousin both had theirs done this way. I don't know what insurance they had though. Maybe medicare for my cousin.
