Leave of Absence

Has anyone had any trouble getting the time off from work to have surgery? My surgery date is 12/09 and just received word from my supervisor that i have to get a form from HR and give them my drs. contact information so that i can get at least 2 weeks off? I really had no intention on telling my current employer about my surgery? New year I will be focusing on obtaining a new positon........ any info. will be appreciated... Shereak

You may be eligible for FMLA, depending on how long you have worked for your employer, how big your employer is, check your employer bulletin board for worker place wrights, it will be posted there along with minimum wage, equal rights rules, workers comp regulations. It will explain it out.
