Insurance after surgery

I no longer have employer provided health insurance and I am trying to locate a company that will not exclude patients who have had gastric bypass surgery. I have already been turned down by 2 companies. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check with your state. Many states have what they call, Chomprehensive Health Insurance Program (CHIP), but not all. I've had this coverage in Illinois for the past year. It's pricey but it's all I could get with my medical history. Good luck.
